Location: Paso de los Toros, Uruguay.
Year: 2022 - 2023
As part of the construction of the Central Railway, the work consisted in the reconstruction of the railway bridge over the Yí River. It is a 636-meter long metal bridge subdivided into 12 spans.
The main activities consisted of disassembling the existing bridge, reinforcing the existing heads, piers and support slabs in reinforced concrete. The pre-assembly and assembly of the new steel structure. And finally, the adaptation of the existing bridge and erection of the new steel structure.
